Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
An upgrade item is a special item that will make certain Pokemon change. The Upgrade can be obtained by spinning a photo disc and is sometimes offered as a reward in Pokemon GO events.

Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be inserted into weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools in order to increase attribute bonuses or other effects while the equipment being used. There are different upgrade components, each with various bonuses. Universal upgrades, such as gems and inscriptions, can be used with any kind of equipment; they provide lower bonuses than other kinds of upgrade components. Infusions can be utilized on non-amulet or legendary ascended items, while enrichments can be used on some back equipment that has been ascended. The majority of upgrade components can be replaced when they are inserted into an item, but doing so can destroy the previous upgrade. Exceptions are glyphs (which can only be used in gathering tools) and enchantments, which are able to be removed and reinserted freely.
Insignias and enchantments will display their name in the item's hover display, while prefix and suffix upgrades will add their name to the end of the equipment name (e.g. for example, a Radiant Insignia on Tyrian Armor would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The number of upgrade components added to an equipment piece will be visible in the tooltip of the item.
Glyphs
Glyphs can be used to add functional and decorative elements to an OpenType font. Once a Glyph is at level 15 it is able to be upgraded on the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The Paragon Board's radius increases by one node for every 15 levels at which a Glyph is upgraded.
Once a Glyph is elevated to the desired level, you can activate it by selecting it and then pressing the "enchant" button. The resulting glyph will offer its stated benefit and increase the number of nodes in its range on the Paragon Board. It's important to place Glyphs in the best locations to benefit your game, which is why it's beneficial to prioritize Magic Glyphs early on. Rare glyphs may also offer double bonus in the event that certain conditions are satisfied.
Click the cycle widget to alter the view of the Glyphs Panel. Each of these views shows the Glyphs in a different font. You can reduce the number of glyphs by selecting an option below "Entire Font". For example, punctuation is only displayed in punctuation glyphs. Math Symbols limits the choices to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
Rerolling involves creating an account on a different account to increase your chances of obtaining the weapon or character you want. However it's important to remember that not all set items are good candidates for upgrading. On the other hand, certain items that are BiS and are used frequently (like Goldwrap) may benefit from being upgraded to increase their stats even more.
